Privacy Policy

InflationRank.com is a free public-data dashboard. We collect very little, and we explain everything below in plain language.

Last updated: May 2026

What we collect

InflationRank does not require an account, login, payment, or any form to fill out. We do not collect your name, email, address, phone number, or any personal identifier directly.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard server logs (your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of the visit). These logs help diagnose technical problems and detect abuse. They are not sold or shared.

What we don't collect

ZIP codes and locations you search

When you enter a ZIP code or city, that query is processed in your browser to fetch public economic data from federal sources. The query is not stored against your identity. Server logs (above) may include the search as part of the URL request.

Third-party services

To display data and serve the site, your browser may communicate with several categories of third-party services:

These third parties have their own privacy policies. Map tiles and CDN providers may receive your IP address as a normal part of serving content. We do not pass your queries to advertising networks.

Cookies

We do not set tracking cookies. The site may use a small amount of browser storage to remember your last ZIP search across visits — this stays on your device and is not sent anywhere.

Children

InflationRank is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page.
